DALLAS, Tex. – An all-around sloppy game proved costly for the Albion College men's basketball team, falling 76-60 to Paul Quinn College.

Leading the way was senior Cortez Garland, scoring a team-high 12 points, all in the second half. MJ Barnes and Khy Winston scored 10 points each in the loss.

On the glass, Devin Holmes grabbed eight rebounds while Ken Thomas brought down seven.

The Tigers would take the lead early, as the Britons hung around for the majority of the first half. Despite some sloppy moments and four offensive fouls, the Britons were always within striking distance in the first half. Unable to tie or take the lead, Albion trailed 33-31 at the half. 

PQC rallied in the second half, capitalizing on Albion miscues and working to build a double-digit lead. 

Albion committed 18 turnovers in the contest, leading to 20 PQC points.

Struggling from the foul line, the Britons cashed in on just 13 of 20 attempts. 

The Tigers shot nearly 48 percent from the floor, as Albion turned in a 35 percent. Albion could not find their groove from beyond the arc, shooting just 19 percent from three.

The Britons fall to 4-6 overall. 

Albion closes out their Dallas trip with a game against North American University tomorrow. Top off will be at 1 p.m. EST. It will be the final non conference game before MIAA play starts on Wednesday.
