ALBION -- In their 2021 debut, the Albion College women's tennis team fell to Spring Arbor University, 9-0. It was the first time the Britons were on the court since 2020's spring break before the season was ultimately cut short.
The Cougars took all three doubles matches by scores of 8-1, 8-3 and 8-1. At second doubles, Breh Ruger and Savannah McDonald were able to score three points in their match.
At third singles, senior captain Mya Duncan scored twice in her match.
The Britons will be back in action on Saturday morning when they host Alma College. The match will begin at 10 a.m. with the men's match to follow.
