Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. -- In the regular season finale, the Albion College women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Adrian College on Thursday evening. With the loss, the Brits conclude the seasons with a 2-4 mark.
Adrian got its first goal less than five minutes in when a loose ball in the box found its way into the back of the net, courtesy of Mckenna Mahoney.
The Bulldogs doubled their lead with a goal in the 64th minute when a Sarah Brannan through ball found the feet of Raquel Church.
Six minutes later, Albion got on the board when Rayna Edwards found senior Emilly Brittain for the senior's fourth goal of the year.
Down the stretch, the Britons could not find the equalizer. The Britons outshot Adrian, 17-7 in the match.
Sophomore goalkeeper Romee Natschke made four saves.
Albion will await their future after a coach's ranking this weekend to determine the seeding for the MIAA Tournament. As always, the schedule will be posted at gobrits.com.
