ALBION, Mich. -- Back on the courts, the Albion College women's tennis team earned a 5-4 win over Olivet College on Thursday afternoon.
At second singles, Breh Ruger and Savannah McDonald picked up an 8-2 win. The Britons picked up a win via forfeit, holding a 2-1 lead after doubles.
Senior Mya Duncan defeated her opponent, 6-1, 6-3 at third singles. Morgan DeRose also earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at fifth singles. The Comets forfeited their sixth singles match, giving Albion the win.
The Britons will travel to Calvin University on Saturday morning for an 11 a.m. match.
