Women's soccer bounced from MIAA Tournament

Box Score

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- On Wednesday, the Albion College women's soccer team's season came to a close following a heartbreaking 1-0 loss in the MIAA Tournament Semifinals. A second half goal was the difference in the match, as Calvin University moves on to the championship match.

The Britons went into halftime tied with the MIAA Regular Season Champions tied at zero. Despite being outshot in the half, goalkeeper Romee Natschke worked to keep the Knights off the board.

In the 61st minute, Calvin scored the lone goal of the game off a corner kick. The score would be enough for the Knights.

Albion had six shots, five on goal in the game. Natschke made five saves for the Brits.

The Britons conclude their condensed season with a 3-5 overall record.
