ALBION -- On Senior Day and the season finale, the Albion College women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Alma College. Senior Mya Duncan won in both her doubles and singles matches.
Duncan and Breh Ruger picked up a big win at second doubles in a tiebreaker. The pair won by a final score of 8-7 (7).
At third singles, Duncan recorded the lone win for the Britons by defeating her opponent 6-1, 6-0. At fourth singles, Savannah McDonald was narrowly edged out, dropping her match 7-5, 6-3.
Prior to the match, Albion honored its two seniors Duncan and Namara Swillum. Swillum competed at third doubles with Grace Lorenzoni, who fell in a tough 8-5 match.
Both the men's and women's teams have concluded their seasons.
