TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — It was a tough day on the pitch for the Albion College men's soccer team, dropping a 4-1 decision to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
The hosts scored twice in the first half to hold a 2-0 edge at the break. RHIT tacked on two more goals in the second half, controlling the momentum for most of the game.
Albion's goal came in the final minute from freshman
Brayden Stavros, assisted by
Spencer Moeggenberg. It was Stavros' second goal of the season.
RHIT outshot the Britons, 17-4.
Anton Favre totaled five saves in goal.
The Brits will host Defiance on Wednesday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
