Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Early lead slips away from men's soccer

ANGOLA, Ind. – A halftime lead slipped away from the Albion College men's soccer team, dropping a 2-1 decision to Trine University. The Thunder netted a pair of goals in the final 25 minutes to defeat the Brits. 

Albion drops to 6-6-2 overall, 1-2-1 in the MIAA. 

Freshman Jonathan Euceda put the Britons on the board first with a goal in the 13th minute. The shot was scored off a pass from Grady Lycan. 

Trine evened the match in the 76th minute before sealing the contest with the game-winner in the 88th minute. 

The teams combined for 35 fouls in the contest. 

Albion will travel to Calvin on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
