Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

MSOC battles to scoreless draw

OLIVET, Mich. – On Saturday, the Albion College men's soccer team battled Olivet College to a scoreless draw. Through two games of the MIAA slate, the Britons now stand at 0-1-1. 

After a scoreless first half – one that featured four yellow cards and two red cards – neither team could get on the board in the second half. The game was a very chippy, physical match, as the teams combined for 23 fouls. 

Both teams were evenly matched with 11 shots apiece. Albion had seven corners to Olivet's none. 

Anton Favre recorded four saves in the shutout. 

The Britons will be back on their home turf Tuesday. They will host Adrian for a 7 p.m. start.
