Match Recap: Women's Tennis |

Ruger wins twice at Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. – In their second MIAA match this season, the Albion College women's tennis team fell to Adrian College, 6-3 on Wednesday. 

At first doubles, Katie Valade and Breh Ruger recorded the lone win for the Britons in doubles play, defeating their opponents 8-6. 

Ruger then went on to pick up a win at third singles. Ruger gritted out a win in a tiebreaker, 3-6, 6-4, 6-0 after dropping the opening set. Alura Reed also had an exciting tiebreaker win in singles play, winning her match at fifth singles 6-4, 7-6, 5-0. 

Albion will be at Olivet on Saturday for a noon match.
