Calvin knocks off women's tennis

ALBION – It was a tough afternoon for the Albion College women's tennis team, falling to one of the conference's best teams in Calvin University. The Knights ran away with a 9-0 win after sweeping doubles, holding momentum moving into singles.

At first doubles, Katie Valade and Breh Ruger put together a solid effort, falling 8-4. Josie Dunn and Saige Jost made a tremendous comeback, but came up just short at second doubles, 8-5.

Through singles play, the Knights retained momentum throughout the match.

Albion will be back in action on Apr. 19 at Kalamazoo. The match will begin at 4 p.m.
