Tough Thursday for softball

ALBION – A sloppy defensive game hurt the Albion College softball team, as they were swept by Kalamazoo College. On the day, the Brits committed 12 errors while scoring just two runs on the afternoon. 

In game one, Kalamazoo defeated Albion, 10-0. Kenadie Baareman had the only hits for the hosts, collecting two in the game. 

Albion had just four in the nightcap, committing five errors in the loss. 

On Sunday, the Brits welcome Alma for Senior Day. Prior to the game, Albion will honor its three seniors – Olivia Polak, Kacy Rossi and Morgan Deckrow. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
