ALBION – On Senior Day, the Albion College women's tennis team fell to Alma College, 8-1.

At third doubles, the team of Savannah McDonald and Ellie Debo fell in a tiebreaker, 8-7 (1). McDonald also lost a tight one at sixth singles, 6-1, 7-6 (4). 

The lone Albion win came at third singles, thanks to Breh Ruger. The junior battled to a 2-6, 7-6 (1), 10-7 tiebreaker victory.

Prior to the match, the Britons honored seniors Debo, Katie Valade, Saige Jost and Morgan DeRose. 

The Britons will conclude their 2022 season on Wednesday when they host St. Mary's. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
