Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Tough start for men's soccer

CHICAGO, Ill. — In their 2022 debut, the Albion College men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to the Illinois Institute of Technology. 

In the 37th minute, the Scarlet Hawks broke a scoreless tie to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. 

The hosts went on to score two quick goals in the second half, turning a one goal lead into a three goal advantage in under a minute. Despite 30 minutes still on the clock, the deficit was too large for the Britons to overcome. 

Anton Favre made six saves in the effort.

After Monday's storm forced this game to the road, Albion will host the first home event of 2022 on Saturday. At 11 a.m., the Britons will play Edgewood College.
