Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's soccer stumbles on Sunday

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – It was a tough Sunday for the Albion College men's soccer team, dropping a 4-1 decision to UW-Platteville. 

The Pioneers scored twice in the first half and once in the first minute of the second half to hold a commanding 3-0 edge halfway through the contest. Moments later, the hosts tallied their fourth and final goal of the afternoon.

Albion's lone goal came from freshman Jonathan Euceda in the 84th minute off a pass from Brett Swaton. 

The Pioneers outshot Albion decisively and held the advantage in corner kicks. 

On Wednesday, the Britons hit the road for a 4 p.m. match at Bluffton.
