Men's golf turns in best MIAA fall performance

MARSHALL, Mich. – On head coach Jake Maas's birthday, the Albion College men's golf team turned in its best performance of the fall, placing fourth in the final MIAA Jamboree. Led by Brendan Iatrow, the Brits shot a 308 on the afternoon. 

Iatrow tied for fourth overall with a team-low score of 73. Sophomore Ryan Knitter tied for 10th overall, finishing with a 76. Next up for Albion was freshman Camden Paul who shot a 78. Blake Wagner (81) and Zach Kapuga (89) rounded out the solid team day for the Brits. 

Vaughn Rogers and Dom Orlando competed as individuals. Rogers totaled a 93 where Orlando was one stroke behind with a 94.

Albion will play in the Regional Showcase at the Warren Golf Club on Oct. 23. It will wrap up the fall slate before moving into spring action in 2024.
