ALMA, Mich. -- The Albion College men's golf team continued its strong fall season with a fourth-place finish at the third MIAA Jamboree.
The Britons carded a team score of 300 on the par-71, 6,561-yard layout at Pine River Country Club. Albion was just three strokes behind third-place Hope College, which carded a 295 as a team. Trine University paced the field with a team score of 287.
For Albion, senior
Blake Wagner led the charege. Wagner fired an even-par 71, which matched his career-low to land in a tie for third on the individual leaderboard.
Camden Paul followed closely behind with a steady round of 74, which was good for a tie at 10th overall.
Bradley Davis posted a 77 to tie for 25th, and freshman
Charlie Dierkes, who finished as a co-medalist at the MIAA Jamboree No. 2, fired a 78 to finish tied for 31st.
Nicholas Giannone closed out the lineup with a card of 86.
Ryan Knitter competed as an individual and fired an 88 to round out Albion's performance.
