SOUTH LYON, Mich. -- The Albion College men's golf team took on a rain-soaked and dreary Moose Ridge Golf Course at the Cleary University Invitational on Tuesday, firing a 325 as a team to finish fifth among the 10-team field.
The Britons placed three golfers in the top-20 highlighted by a top-10 finish from
Blake Wagner. The senior shot a 78 (+7) on the 6,982-yard par-71 course to pace Albion.
Camden Paul finished one stroke off his teammate's pace with a 79 (+8), which placed him in a tie for 12th. . For Paul, it was his thrid consecutive round scoring under 80.
Nicholas Giannone rounded out the Britons in the top-20 with a score of 82 (+11), which placed him in a three-way tie for 20th.
Freshman
Charlie Dierkes carded an 86 (+15) in the wet conditions to tie for 30th, while
Bradley Davis wrapped up Albion's scorers with an 18-hole score of 89 (+18).
