Football celebrates seniors in home finale

ALBION – It was a tough ending for the Albion College football team, dropping a 50-14 decision to Alma College. In the first year of the Travis Rundle era, the Britons finished the season with a 7-3 overall record. 

With a sack, Nick Fannon set the new Albion single season record, finishing with 12.5 this year.

Luke Lovell was 28 of 42 for 335 yards and a touchdown. Kye Bristow led Albion with 10 catches for 178 yards and a touchdown as well. Albion's second touchdown was a run from Curtis Hamilton.

Jayth Joseph was stellar defensively, recording 11 tackles.

Alma outgained the Britons 537-380 in the loss.

After the game, Albion celebrated its senior class of 33 members.
