WLAX suffers setback in Ohio

GAMBIER, Ohio – It was a tough night for the Albion College women's lacrosse team, dropping a 21-2 match to Kenyon College on Monday afternoon. 

The Ladies jumped out to a fast start, scoring 10 quick goals on the Britons to put the running clock into effect early. Albion finally got on the board with nine minutes remaining in the first half when Addie Pastor netted her 16th goal of the season. 

At the half, Kenyon held a 14-1 lead. 

Albion's second goal also came from Pastor. 

Olivia Dameron controlled a team-high five draws. Nicole Miller (2-1) made five saves in the effort. 

On Thursday, the Britons will play Redlands at Sewanee. Game time is set for 2 p.m. EST.
