Women's tennis opens MIAA action

ALBION, Mich. – In their MIAA opener, the Albion College women's tennis team was matched up against one of the region's top powers in Kalamazoo College. Kalamazoo came away with a 9-0 victory in the match.

At second doubles, it was an extremely tight match as Albion's Savannah McDonald and Josie Dunn fell in a tiebreaker. Throughout a back and forth match, the Hornets finished with an 8-7 (9-7) win.

At six singles, Liliana Robinson fell in a close 7-5 decision in the first set before dropping a 6-0 set in the second.

The Brits will host Grace Christian on Saturday at 10 a.m.
