Trine topples softball

ANGOLA, Ind. – It was a tough day for the Albion College softball team, as they were swept by No. 5 Trine University. The defending National Runner-Up Thunder defeated Albion 9-0 and 8-0 on Saturday afternoon. 

In game one, the Thunder hurled a perfect game against the Britons – their second of the week. In the nightcap, Albion mustered just two hits off Trine. Those hits came from Mya Nummer and Kenadie Baareman. 

On Monday, the Britons will head to Oberlin College as they make up games from March. Game times are at 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.
