Sam Puzevic and Jace Conley combined for 15 points in the win.

ALBION – Total domination.

There was no question from the first face off, as the Albion College men's lacrosse team earned a 26-9 win over Adrian College. It marks the sixth straight game the Brits have netted 21 or more goals, dating back to Apr. 2.

Sam Puzevic and Jace Conley combined for 15 points. Senior Eddie Symons continued his incredible year, going 26 of 34 from the faceoff X, picking up 21 ground balls. He also added two goals in the victory.

Ethan Rottell, Cal Stearns and Brendan Mercier all scored hat tricks for the Brits.

With 2:43 remaining in the opening quarter, Albion used a 4-0 run to close out the period and take an 8-2 lead into the second. In that stretch, the Britons received a pair of goals from Matt Montgomery

The potent offense continued into the second quarter, as Albion scored seven straight to start the fresh 15. All seven goals were scored by different players on the roster, as Conley, Rottell, Stearns, Symons, Keegan Pastor, Fabrizio Raciti and Marcus Haynie tallied goals.

With a commanding 19-5 lead at halftime, the Britons continued to outscore the Bulldogs for the remainder of the contest.

Senior Chad Burton caused a team-high five turnovers in the win – his most since 2021.

Jack Gogonis (10-3) earned the win through 30 minutes of action. The fifth year senior made four saves.

The hosts were near-perfect on the clear, converting 16 of 18 attempts.

Conley (83) and Puzevic (73) sit 1-2 in the MIAA in points, as Gogonis's 177 saves leads all goalies. Conley also leads the league with 55 goals and 28 assists.

Albion hits the road for a non-conference contest against Denison on Sunday. Game time is slated for 12 p.m.
