Softball struggles at Kzoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – It was a tough day for the Albion College softball team, as they were swept by Kalamazoo College. In game one, the Hornets won 3-1 before run ruling Albion 11-0 in the nightcap. 

In the opener, senior Mya Nummer recorded two of Albion's five hits. She drove in the lone Albion run thanks to an RBI groundout. Ashley Pion suffered the loss, but the NCAA leader in strikeout to walk ratio fanned 10 while walking none. 

Albion was held to just one hit in game two, coming off the bat of Kearney Miller. 

The Brits host Olivet on Sunday for Senior Day beginning at 1 and 3 p.m.
