MLAX falls in MIAA Tournament Championship

ALBION – Pain. 

After dominating the regular season matchup, the Albion College men's lacrosse team fell to Hope College in the MIAA Tournament Championship game, 23-14. Hope held a four goal lead at the half and built on it throughout the second half. 

Marcus Haynie and Ethan Rottell led Albion offensively with four points apiece. Both Jace Conley and Sam Puzevic netted hat tricks on the night. 

Eddie Symons was 22 of 38 from the faceoff X, picking up 19 total ground balls. 

Hope was a perfect 20 of 20 on the clear, as Albion committed 15 turnovers in the game. 

Albion was 0-6 in EMOs. 

Albion's season comes to a close with a 14-5 overall record. It ends the illustrious careers of Jack Gogonis, Conley, Puzevic, Symons, Eric Fraeyman, Chad Burton, Jacob Castles and Alex Unterriker.
