Men's soccer falls to No. 15 Hope

HOLLAND, Mich. – Despite hanging tough for the first 45 minutes, the Albion College men's soccer team fell to No. 15 Hope College, 2-0 on Saturday. 

The Britons held their own with the Flying Dutch, taking a scoreless tie into halftime. It took just three minutes into the new half for the hosts to get on the scoreboard and hold a slim 1-0 lead. 

In the 64th minute, Hope doubled its lead. For the game, the Brits were outshot, 28-6. 

Freshman goalkeeper Tom Veresh tallied eight saves for the Britons. 

On Wednesday, Albion hosts Calvin for a 7 p.m. match.
