GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Aided by 20 unanswered points, the Albion College football team wrapped up its 2024 season with a 41-21 win over Calvin University. Tied at halftime, the Britons shutout the hosts in the second half.

Luke Lovell's historic career comes to a close with a career-high 422 yards, completing 28 of 34 passes with five touchdowns and no interceptions.

Colby Taylor-Browning led all players with 91 rushing yards. Trevor Smith ends his Albion career with a monster day, including five catches for 102 yards and two total touchdowns. Cameron Moore caught six passes for 87 yards and a TD in the win.

Jackson Taylor added to the career-highs with his best mark of 12 total tackles. Adam Mills tacked on 10 tackles in the win, including 1.5 TFL.

Albion marched down the field on its first drive in quick fashion, commencing in a 10-yard pass over the middle to Aiden Adams. After Calvin tied the game, the visitors responded with a score, this one coming from Lovell to Smith – a 25 yarder to put the Brits ahead 14-7 after one.

A 29-yard pass from Lovell to Moore increased the Briton lead to 21-7, but the Knights rallied to even the contest at 21 by halftime.

Out of the locker room, Albion took the lead for good on a 29-yard touchdown to Dorian Armstrong. Holding a one score lead going into the final period, the Britons used touchdowns from Dilon Denison and a second from Smith for a significant advantage.

Albion put up 557 yards of total offense, limiting Calvin to 303.
