ALBION – In their first-ever home dual, the Albion College women's wrestling team came up just short of Tiffin University, 25-24. Despite winning the final two bouts, the Dragons did just enough to win the match.

After dropping the opening bout, junior Lynsey Light gave Albion five points at 110. Light pinned her opponent in 1:11, giving the hosts a 6-4 lead. Following a forfeit at 117, Albion was ahead 11-4.

At 124, Hannah Arledge – ranked No. 16 in the latest Open Mat poll – made quick work of her opponent. The junior co-captain earned a pin in just 34 seconds, adding five more points to Albion's total.

Tiffin won the next three matchups to take a 24-16 advantage. Brynn Green battled in a gritty 180 matchup, claiming a 6-1 victory. Ending the night with a bang was Abbie Miles. Miles won her second straight match with a pin, needing just 37 seconds.

Albion's women's team will be idle until the Albion Invitational, hosted on Nov. 17.
