Game Recap: Women's Lacrosse |

DeWaters scored four at JCU

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – Taking on a tough non-conference opponent, the Albion College women's lacrosse team dropped an 18-10 decision to John Carroll University. Audrey DeWaters paced the Brits with four goals in the loss. 

Albion came out swinging, taking a 6-4 lead after the first quarter. The Blue Streaks were able to regroup at the end of the period, outscoring the visitors 5-2 in the frame. At halftime, John Carroll worked their way back to hold a slim 8-9 lead. 

In the second half, John Carroll held all the momentum to distance themselves from Albion. Throughout the final two periods, the Blue Streaks limited the Brits to just two goals. 

Logan Hutchinson and Kyndall Lewis each tacked on a pair of goals. Lewis controlled a team-high seven draws for the Brits. 

On Monday, the Britons host UW-Eau Claire for a 5 p.m. game.
