Women's tennis knocks off GCU handily

ALBION – Back on their home courts, the Albion College women's tennis team dominated its way to a 9-0 win over Grace Christian University. With defaults by the Tigers at third doubles and sixth singles, the Brits held a 2-0 advantage. 

At first doubles, Rosy Zuun and Josie Dunn cruised their way to an 8-1 victory. On the second court at second doubles, the senior duo of Keiley Black and Savannah McDonald won by an 8-0 margin. 

In singles action, Zuun claimed her match at first singles with a score of 6-1, 6-3. Dunn competed at second singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win. Both Black at third singles and freshman Abbie Hubbard at fourth singles won via 6-0, 6-0 victories. McDonald wrapped up the match with a 6-0, 6-0 win at fifth singles. 

The Britons will host Hope College on Saturday in the second half of a men's and women's doubleheader. The women's match will start roughly around 2 p.m.
