Men's and women's tennis compete against Hope

ALBION – Hosting a doubleheader, the Albion College tennis teams found themselves at the wrong end of a pair of losses to Hope College, 9-0.

At both first and second doubles, Albion fell by 8-3 margins. Playing at first doubles was the brotherly duo of Josh Doyle and Jacob Doyle, while Drake Malcolm and Brendan Morrison competed at second doubles.

In second singles, Josh Doyle put together a solid match, falling in three sets. The sophomore fell by a score of 4-6, 6-2, 10-4.

On the women's side, Hope – a regional and national powerhouse – controlled the match for both singles and doubles play.

Both teams will be idle until the calendar turns to April. The women will be at Trine on Apr. 2 and the men will play a 4 p.m. match at Trine the following day.
