HOLLAND, Mich. -- Despite an early lead, the Albion College men's lacrosse team fell in the MIAA Championship game to Hope College, 17-13.

Ethan Rottell and
Timmy Salinas led the Britons with four points apiece. Rottell's points came off three goals and one assist, while Salinas recorded two of each.
The Britons broke out to an early 5-1 advantage, but the hosts had cut the Albion lead to three goals by halftime. Heading into the final period, the game was knotted at 11.
Albion struggled at the faceoff X, going 11 of 34.
Sophomore
Logan Bride had a career night, causing seven turnovers.
Caleb Howell totaled 15 saves in goal.
