RESULTS

MARSHALL, Mo. -- Six Albion women's wrestlers competed at the Missouri Valley Open held at Missouri Valley College.

Fifty-one teams from around the country were represented.

Gabby Motz (110) and Ryleigh Ruiz (117) were the only Britons to win any matches in the highly-competitive open. Motz (2-2) won her matches on a decision and a pin, while Ruiz notched a victory in her first match on a pin.

Abby Geairn (124, 0-2), Naomi Grummet (138, 0-2), Paris Ford (160, 0-2) and nationally-ranked Heaven Cole (207, 0-2) were the other Briton competitors.

In Cole's two matches, she wrestled competitors from the University of Iowa and the University of Nebraska.
