Dunn secures MIAA Athlete of the Week honor

Sophomore Molly Dunn has been named the MIAA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week, as announced Monday afternoon.

In Saturday's season-opening 4-3 win over Saint Francis (Ind.), Dunn was part of a second doubles tandem that won their match, 6-2. With a default for the Cougars in doubles play, Dunn's win helped secure the doubles point for the Britons.

Playing fifth singles, Dunn's victory ultimately sealed the match for Albion. She knocked off her opponent by a 6-4, 6-2 margin.

The women's tennis team is slated to host Manchester on Saturday for a 10 a.m. start.
