Game Recap: Women's Lacrosse |

Chown scores twice at No. 21 Chicago

CHICAGO, Ill. – Going up against the No. 21 ranked University of Chicago, the Albion College women's lacrosse team was overmatched in a 22-5 loss to the Maroons.

Junior midfielder Ellen Chown tallied two goals for the Brits. Freshman Anna Huard added one goal and an assist, while Kellie Flynn and Kyndall Lewis scored the other Albion goals. 

The defense was led by a pair of seniors in Natalie Sweetland and Julia Ames. Sweetland caused two turnovers and Ames controlled three draws.

With some time off, the Brits will prep for MIAA action. Albion's next game is on Apr. 1 at Saint Mary's for a 7 p.m. start.
