Baseball ends 2025 Spring Break Trip

AUBURNDALE, Fla. – In their spring break finale, the Albion College baseball team saw a ninth inning rally fall short, dropping a 7-3 contest to Dominican. 

Carson Dunn and Braeden Emery each finished with two hits. 

Gavin White and Emery led off the third with back to back singles. Ethan Caris went to bunt the pair over, but an errant throw by the Stars allowed White to cross for a 1-0 lead. A few pitches later, Emery scored on a wild pitch to double the Albion lead. 

Dominican answered with runs in the fourth and fifth to take a 3-2 lead.
 Dunn tied the game in the sixth with a double in the gap to left center, bringing home Ryker Mazey. Once again, Dominican had an answer to score four runs and gain a 7-3 lead. 

Despite the Britons getting the tying run on deck in the ninth, the Stars were able to take the final game of the trip.
