Baseball falls in Alma opener

ALMA, Mich. – Three errors by the Albion College baseball defense hurt them in the opener against Alma College, falling to the Scots 6-0. 

Alma put up a run in each of the first two innings before exploding for four in the bottom of the eighth to create distance from the Britons. 

Junior Evan Schuster went 3 for 4 with a pair of doubles in the loss. 

As a team, the Brits struck out 15 times. 

The Britons will host the doubleheader of the series tomorrow, with games beginning at 1 and 4 p.m.
