Baseball swept by Scots

ALBION – A pair of one run losses hurt the Albion College baseball team, getting swept by Alma College on the day. The Britons dropped the final two games of the series 5-4 and 6-5. 
Ryker Mazey finished game one going 2 for 4. Freshman Gavin White drove in a pair, as the Brits struggled to capitalize on five Alma miscues. 
In the second game, both Kris Stojanovski and Evan Schuster finished with two hits apiece. Schuster was a perfect 2 for 2, driving in two runs. Albion struck out 11 times, unable to get runners aboard after Alma took the lead for good in the seventh. 
Albion hosts Heidelberg Tuesday for a 4 p.m. start.
