Men's golf kicks off spring competition

WOOSTER, Ohio – Seeing a 19 stroke improvement from day one to day two, the Albion College men's golf team placed 10th at the Nye Intercollegiate Invitational, hosted by The College of Wooster. The Britons shot a 332 in the first round, before a 313 in the second round to finish with a 645.

Sophomore Camden Paul finished tied for fifth, shooting a 76-75–151. Ryan Knitter had a drastic day two improvement, recording an 83-76–159 for the weekend. Freshman Matt Sypniewski was next (85-81–166), followed by Blake Wagner's 90-81–171. Nicholas Giannone's 88-84–172 rounded out the team.

Albion will return to action on Wednesday at the Lourdes Spring Invitational – a makeup from Apr. 8
