Women's tennis rolls past GCU

ALBION — In their final non-conference match of the season, the Albion College women's tennis team defeated Grace Christian University, 6-1.

The Britons won the doubles point with both second and third doubles winning. Karina Nigg and Lynsey Brearley won a 6-3 match at second doubles, while Kashish Tank and Ava Kunkel won 6-1 in the final doubles match.

Nigg went on to win 6-4, 6-3 at second singles and Brearley won 6-4, 6-0 at third singles. At fourth singles, Molly Dunn earned a big 6-4, 2-6, 10-6 win. Tank and Kunkel rounded out the match with wins of 6-2, 6-3 and 6-2, 6-4.

The Brits host Calvin on Saturday for Senior Day. The match will begin at 11 a.m.
