WLAX comes up short at Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. – In a tight battle, the Albion College women's lacrosse team fell just short in a 9-8 loss to Trine University. 

Logan Hutchinson's three goals led Albion in the contest. Kyndall Lewis also added three points, coming off a goal and a pair of assists. Lewis also had a team-high three caused turnovers for Albion. 

Trine scored a man-up goal with five minutes left in regulation, taking a 9-8 lead. The Brits could not find the equalizer, dropping a tight-knit contest. 

Albion was a flawless 21 for 21 on the clear. 

The Brits will host Calvin on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. game time.
