SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- For the second-straight match, the Albion College women's soccer team shutout its opponent, as the Britons rolled past Indiana-South Bend, 2-0 on Wednesday evening.
Albion dominated the contest from the opening whistle. The Britons peppered the Spartans with 22 shots, 13 of which were on frame. The barrage resulted in a 11-2 advantage in corner kicks for Albion.
Mia Czarnowski and
Claire Gorno were credited with goals for Albion, with Gorno's going in the books as a solo effort to beat the goalkeeper. Czarnowski and Brooke Mcnab combined for Albion's opener.
