MARSHALL, Mich. -- The good times continued for the Albion College women's golf team at MIAA Jamboree No. 2 on Tuesday afternoon.
As the Britons attacked the par-72, 5,761-yard Medalist Golf Course, they set a new program-low for MIAA play with a team score of 323 strokes, which was good for fourth place in the always-competitive MIAA field. Albion broke the 18-hole play record earlier this fall at the IWU Fall Classic on consecutive days with scores of 322 and 314.
St. Mary's College claimed the top spot at the Jamboree with a team score of 312. Trine University and Hope College rounded out the top four with scores of 316 and 317, respectively.
Anna Schaibly led Albion on the afternoon with card of 76 (+4) powered by a trio of birdies. The first-year talent finished tied for fifth overall. The freshman's 76, was one stroke off her career low of 75.

Payton LaRowe turned in identical scores of 82 (+10) to finish tied for 20th.
Julia Sambaer carded an 83 (+11) to finish just behind Schiably and LaRowe on the leaderboard. The DeWitt, Michigan, native's score marked a new career low.
Taylore Wilson rounded out Albion's scorers with an 87 (+15) across today's round.
Peyton Sage competed as an individual and registered an 84 (+12), to set a new career-best.

MIAA action rolls on for the Britons at Jamboree No. 3 on Monday, October 6 at the Gull Lake Country Club. The round is set to begin at 1 pm.
