ALBION, Mich. -- The Albion College women's wrestling team hung tough on senior night, but ultimately fell 28–15 to Tiffin University in on Wednesday night inside of Kresge Gymnasium. 

Prior to the dual, Albion recognized its graduating class — Gabby Motz, Danielle Ruiz, Hannah Arledge, and Brynn Green. 

Following a double forfeit at 103, Albion struck first at 110 as Motz, who ranked 18th nationally in the latest Open Mat rankings, set the tone with a dominant 12–2 technical fall over Charlize Distel in just 1:26. Tiffin answered quickly, using a forfeit at 117 and technical falls at 124 and 138 to build separation.

The Dragons maintained control through the middle weights with forfeits at 131 and 145, but Albion responded at 160 when Green wasted little time, powering to a 10–0 technical fall over Khyra Washington Barron in 1:02. Tiffin added a decision at 180 before Albion closed the dual on a high note at 207, where Ford earned a win by injury default over Jordan Torres-Carrillo just 1:40 into the bout.

Albion finished the night with three bonus-point victories, highlighted by technical falls from Motz and Green and Ford's late win.
