THURSDAY RESULTS
HOLLAND, Mich. — The Albion men's swim & dive team ended Day 2 of the MIAA Championships in fourth with 175 points at the Holland Aquatic Center.
Hope (423) held a 53.5-point advantage over Calvin for the lead.
The 400 medley relay quartet of
Harper Prutch,
Tyler Deubel,
Jalen Hung and
Brody Roberts medaled with a third-place finish (3:40.81), bumping themselves up after Hope's relay was disqualified.
Three Britons qualified for finals in the 500 freestyle. Deubel took eighth in the A final (4:45.28), while Holland native Prutch (4:51.91) and
Wesley Jenkins (4:56.47) went 4-5 in the B final.
Hung placed fifth in the B final of the 200 IM (2:00.02) to round out the individual swimmers competing in finals.
The 200 freestyle relay squad of
Will Pentland, Roberts,
Steven Matyas and Deubel took fifth with a mark of 1:31.76 to begin the session.
In 1-meter diving,
Jeremy Romero was fifth (373.75).
Cam Thompson earned 12
th (236.30) in the B final as a result of the prelims results which took place the day prior.
