Women's Tennis Slated Eighth in Preseason Poll

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- The Albion College women's tennis team was picked to finish eighth in the 2026 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Tennis Preseason Poll, as voted on by the league's nine head coaches.

Hope College was selected as the preseason favorite after earning all eight first-place votes, with Kalamazoo College and Calvin University rounding out the top three in the poll.

Albion returns experience at the top of the lineup with juniors Abbie Hubbard and Molly Dunn back for the spring season, as the Britons look to make a climb up the MIAA leaderboard.

Hubbard competed in the No. 1 singles position for Albion last year, while Dunn saw action at No. 2 singles, providing the Britons with a veteran foundation.

Albion's spring schedule gets underway on Saturday, February 14, when the Britons host Manchester University in the Ungrodt Tennis Center.
