ALBION, Mich. - The Albion men's lacrosse team suffered a tough loss, 13-1, to Oberlin College Wednesday evening at Alumni Field.
Oberlin controlled most of the first half of the game, outshooting and scoring on the Britons. Midway through, Oberlin held a 5-0 lead. The struggle continued for the Britons in the third, allowing six more goals while failing to build any offensive momentum.
The Britons' lone goal came in the early going of the fourth period from senior Cal Stearns. Despite having more shots as a team in the last period, that was the only time Albion found the back of the net.
Albion had a difficult time with possessions, compiling twenty-five turnovers by the end of the game compared to Oberlin's fourteen. Oberlin would outshoot Albion 47-40 in the affair as well.
