ALBION, Mich. — Albion baseball fell to Ohio Northern on senior day, 7-16.
Albion saw pitching from Brandon Lipson, Ian Balint, Gavin Buckley, and Ari Klinger. The Polar Bears had a good day at the plate, tallying fifteen hits throughout.
Ohio Northern added eight runs in just the first two innings. Meanwhile, Albion scored only a single run, on Colton Champion's double in the second, which brought in Brendan Welch.
The Polar Bears scored at least one run in every inning besides the eighth. The Britons struggled with the bats, having just two runs to Ohio Northern's fourteen heading into the ninth.
Albion saw a spark, having scored five runs with hits from Jack Laporte and Logan Farmer. The fire would quickly be put out by the Polar Bears.
