ADRIAN, Mich. — The Albion women's lacrosse team was defeated by Adrian, 20-7, on the road.
Abbey Scott scored the game's first goal, but Adrian posted the next seven. Logan Hutchinson added a score near the end of the period, as the Bulldogs held onto their 7-2 lead.
Hayla-Lyn Gilly and Anna Huard added two goals for Albion in the second, but the Bulldog offense continued to shine with another seven goals before half to make it 14-4.
The Britons were silent in the third, and would only see three goals from Hutchinson in the fourth the rest of the way.
Adrian outshot Albion on goal 33-12, while Albion had more turnovers, 23-13. Hutchinson notched four goals, while Nicole Miller made 13 saves in net.
