Columbus, Ohio - The Albion Women's Soccer team dropped just their second game to Capital, 2-0.
The Brits offense would come out hot, taking the first two shots of the game in the first 30 minutes. The Comets offense would get involved and begin trying to find the net. Both teams would come up empty as they headed into the half. The Brits would take just three shots, while only allowing the Comets to take four.
Libby Wisniewski would record two saves in the opening half, however.
The Brits would get the first shot of the second half, however the Comets next shot would find the net in the 51st minute. Both teams would trade shots, before a PK for the Comets would give them the 2-0 lead in the 66th minute. The Brits would take five shots, looking to close the gap, but none were able to connect and the Brits fall 2-0.
Brooklyn Zeleny led the Brits with three shots, with
Diane Hurtado,
Abby O'Connell and
Claire Gorno recorded two shots each.
Libby Wisniewski would record two saves and
Marleigh Chapman would record three.
The Britons return to action on Wednesday September 23rd as they travel to Mount Union at 4 PM.

- With just 12 shots, it ties the fewest shots this season by the Brits
- Allowing the Comets to take 11 shots, marks the most the Brits have allowed all season
